Early childhood experiences are like stones dropped into a pond. They create ripple like patterns that repeat throughout our lives until we deal with the stones. Most of us enter therapy to strengthen our ability to cope with the ripples. However true transformation requires that we place our attention to the wounds that created the patterns to begin with. As our attention to the wounds deepens, so does our compassion for our self and the child within who needed the protective layers to survive. As we heal, we grow into healthier adults with greater capacity to participate in more of what life has to offer.
